About me:
I have been working with children since 1982 – starting in the Netherlands (my native country) working in the school system. While I was studying for my degree in Special Education (which I obtained in 1987) I needed to write an article about an educational system or educational theory that I wasn’t yet familiar with. Through friends I learned about Educational Kinesiology; and that’s how it all really started!
I took a class, wrote my article and absolutely loved what I learned I could do for children this way. It was different from anything I had done or experienced before, however I saw the results and I was hooked. I continued my training in this field, quit my teaching job and officially started my private practice in 1989.
In 1991 I came to the United States for the first time to co-teach and train with Paul Dennison, the founder of the Educational Kinesiology Foundation and to be installed as the Faculty Member representing the Netherlands on the International Faculty for the Educational Kinesiology Foundation. During those years I trained with many teachers, learning more techniques and theories on how to address learning challenges in a variety of ways.
In 1994 I moved to the USA and I have been in private practice ever since, working with both children and adults who are labeled ADD, ADHD, dyslexic, autistic, asperger’s sydrome, etc etc etc. I have learned I don’t care too much about those labels; I address with my clients their needs in a unique and individualized manner. In general my clients see significant progress in just three sessions.
Dr. Tony Murcezk recommend you to me. I have a condition which is called Lupus. he taught that you could help me. I would like your opinion. I know of Kinesiology and use it to help myself. I’ve had this probably for 40 yrs. now.
